With Lucidity Catalog – you can easily set up your own catalog or store using WordPress custom post types and taxonomies. You can offer a store on your web site in a matter of minutes by following these simple five steps:
- Customize the Catalog using “General Settings” in the custom Lucidity Catalog Admin panel (under the “Appearance” menu). You can set the catalog title, catalog description, the number of items you want to show up in the catalog view, and other miscellaneous settings.
- Add items to the Catalog by using the Catalog menu > “Add New Item”.
- Use the custom fields when creating a new “item” to define the description (used in the archive view and single view), price, buy code, and about the item creator. If the fields are blank – the information will be omitted from the layouts. Use the “featured image” to define the image used on the archive and single view. The photo will be auto cropped.
- Set Up Item Categories (ex: music, books) to create a customized hierarchy of items.
- Drag and drop the Lucidity Catalog widgets in place.
